Yesterday at Crabbe Mountain it was 17C and pouring rain, today at 11am it was 0C with frequent snow flurries and howling wind. Enough wind that our power and phone service was out all morning! By noon, still no power, jay and I both headed back to town to work from our home offices. Maintence crews were scheduled to do work on the inside of the lodge today, but instead switched to on-mountain projects today. With our scheduled opening day just over 43 days away there's no time to wait for the power and phones to start working.
