Congrats Ski Racing Club...

The host Crabbe Mountain Ski Racing Club enjoyed a medal fest at the Altantic Cup series of races held on the weekend at the Lower Hainsville facility.

Skiers from the local club earned 24 medals overall in the competition which featured 70 alpine ski racers between the ages of 13-20 from the Atlantic region.

Competition was held in each of super giant slalom, giant slalom and slalom disciplines.

When it was all said and done, Lincoln Esau was the most decorated of the Crabbe Mt. competitors with four golds competing in the K2 (13-14 years of age) division. He also garnered a bronze as the third fastest competitor overall.

Philip Soicher earned three gold medals and a bronze competing in the J2 (ages 17-18) division. He also won a bronze among the fastest competitors overall in his age bracket.

Cathleen Trafton earned a pair of gold medals, a silver and a bronze medal competing in the K2 girls division. She also won two bronze in the fastest overall competition.

Sebastien Pacey-Smith had a gold and two silver medals in the J2 division and added a gold and a silver for overall fastest within his age category.

Elizabeth Teague added a silver and bronze medal in the J1 (ages 15-16) girls competition.
